Taking a motor cart(xe lôi) or bycycle on shady paths, pass by green paddy fields and vegetable plains to have opportunity to touch on real life and know more about tropical culture from Peasants. Visiting Tra Su, reaching the wild birds Sanctuary, cruising smoothly with small boats to discover the arrays of splendid canals deep into the jungle, observing storks, cranes and other kinds of tropical bird. Then pay a visit to Binh Thuy historic village, the floating market and wandering along Ninh Kieu port and go shopping at the night market.
Itinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh – Ham Luong – Ben Tre – Chau Doc (L)
- At 8.00 am, Depart from Ho Chi Minh city for going to Mekong Delta. When we arrive in Hàm Luông Pier (Bến Tre town), let’s take a boat on Bến Tre river – one of tributaries of Mekong river, taking part in interesting activities along river as fishing, water transferring…Then stop at brickwork to watch how people there make bricks in handy traditional style by printing and baking. Pay a visit to one of plenty of coconut processing workshops set along canal. Turn on natural scissors creeks in which they seem to be smaller and smaller to go to the village. Have a walk to family workshop which shows you how to make sleepmats and enjoying some fruits and tea.

- Have lunch at restaurant along riverside.
- Afternoon – Take rowing-boat along water palm creek. Then boat back to Hùng Vương Pier.
- Proceed to Chau Doc. Check in when arriving . Visit the Sam Mountain and the caved pagoda, see the sunset over the Vietnamese-Cambodian Frontier.
- Have dinner on guest’s account.
- Overnight at your proposed hotel in Chau Doc.
Day 2: Chau Doc – Tra Su Sanctuary bird – Can Tho (B/L/_)
- Breakfast at your hotel. Taking a motor boat trip to watch the floating fish farm and the floating village. Pay a visit to the local Cham minority village in their traditional weaving village.
- Continue the tour to pay a visit to Tra Su, getting to the wild birds Sanctuary, cruising smoothly with small boats to discover the arrays of splendid canals deep into the forest, watching storks, cranes and many other kinds of tropical birds .
- Back to Chau Doc having lunch .
- Leave for Can Tho, on the way visit Binh Thuy historic village. Take a rest in the evening for wandering along Ninh Kieu port and do some shoppoings at the night market.
- Dinner on guest’s account.
- Overnight at your proposed hotel in Can Tho.
Day 3: Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market (B/L/_)
- After having breakfast, take the morning boat journey to visit the Phong Dien floating market which is the liveliest place at this time of day. Keep cruising through the small channels system, then stopping off to visit a rice noodle making village. Try a new experience the “Monkey Bridge” in the Delta and the orchard garden.
Option 1:
- Return to Ho Chi Minh city.
- Stop for rest in Vinh Longand My Tho
