Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh city via Mekong Delta 3 days 2 nights

GROUP TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Phnom Penh – Chau Doc (Meal: dinner)

• At 11.30am, pick you up at hotel in Phnom Penh and transfer to Sisowath tourist dock for boarding the express boat down to Mekong Delta and enter Viet Nam via Vinh Xuong border.
• Arrive at Chau Doc around 17.30.
• Pick you up at the pier boat and transfer to hotel. Meeting our tour guide and other tourists in group then having dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 2: Chau Doc –   Tra Su forest –  Can Tho (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

• After breakfast, visit Xu Lady temple, Tay An pagoda
• Then transfer to Tra Su cajuput forest, which is renowned for not only its almost-untouched natural beauty but also its sanctuary of flora and fauna. Take a boat trip into the forest, you will immediately feel like you are harmonizing with nature because of all of the impressive pictures of cajuputs, the fragrance of the flowers and the music-like noise of birds, insects and animals making people relaxed and comfortable. From the observation post, you can overlook the forest with an area of nearly 900 ha, home of many birds and animals, including some rare ones.
• After that, proceed to Can Tho city.
• Arrive to Can Tho city, check in at the standard hotel that has hot shower, towers, mini bar, air conditioner  tivi, wifi .etc. in each room.
• Then having dinner on cruise.
• After that leisure in the evening for exploring Tay Do night market, Ninh Kieu wharf or taste these delicious local dishes

Day 3: Cai Rang floating market – Ho Chi Minh city (Meals: breakfast, lunch)

• After breakfast at the hotel. At 07.00am, transfer to Ninh Kieu wharf.
• Cruising in the river to the busy Cai Rang floating market, one of the biggest floating market in Southern Vietnam. Visitors will be surprised to explore “the method of the business” in the floating market areas. It is really impressed.
• After exploring the floating market, visitors will visit the place to see how they make rice vermicelli noodle and the orchard garden. Wandering in the village and try your best to cross the bamboo bridge which is built only one bamboo tree.
• Cruise back Ninh Kieu wharf.
• Stop for lunch.
• Arrive to Ho Chi Minh city around 5.00pm. End service

PRIVATE TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Phnom Penh – Chau Doc (Meal: dinner)

Day 2: Chau Doc – floating villages – Tra Su Cajuput Forest – Can Tho (Meals: Breakfast, lunch)

• After breakfast, take a nice boat trip through the floating village  to pay a visit to a fish farm to see how the Mekong Delta people raise fish in their floating houses. Visit the Cham minority with their traditional weaving village, followed by a local Islamic Mosque.
• Then transfer to Tra Su cajuput forest, which is renowned for not only its almost-untouched natural beauty but also its sanctuary of flora and fauna. Take a boat trip into the forest, you will immediately feel like you are harmonizing with nature because of all of the impressive pictures of cajuputs, the fragrance of the flowers and the music-like noise of birds, insects and animals making people relaxed and comfortable. • After that, proceed to Can Tho city. On the way, visit Binh Thuy ancient house.
• Arrive to Can Tho around 16.00. Leisure in the evening for exploring Tay Do night market, Ninh Kieu wharf or taste these delicious local dishes. Overnight at hotel in Can Tho.

Day 3: Cai Rang floating market – Ho Chi Minh city (Meals: Breakfast, lunch)

• At 05.00am, boarding on a motorized boat to Cai Rang floating market. In the way, you can see many bustling activities along Can Tho riverbanks. You have chance to know how local people go fishing and transport passengers as well as product by the waterway.
• Approaching Cai Rang floating market, you can reappear the selling activities in the past by using a traditional “offering pole” for exchanging consumer goods.
• Having breakfast on cruise at the morning floating market with hu tieu and milk café
• After exploring the floating market, visitors will visit the place to see how they make rice vermicelli noodle and the orchard garden. Wandering in the village and try your best to cross the bamboo bridge which is built only one bamboo tree.
• 08.30am, return to Ninh Kieu Wharf and visit Can Tho market.
• Transfer Cai Son village to look at the rural activities of the local people. Visiting fishing farm and see fishing performance.
• Then attend handmade traditional cake class and enjoy it.
• Having lunch in orchard garden. Then continue running along the village access the river, visitors sometimes see the rural activities of the local people and enjoy seasonal fruit at orchard garden. You feel like relaxing at the peaceful and quite garden.
• At 14.30, proceed to Ho Chi Minh city. The tour ends at your hotel around 17.30.
